In the Alchemist guild, no such thing exists. Seems like votes and candidates stay on there literally forever.

The Taniel Clerics have something like this though, I believe.

Votes and applications should vanish after 100 days of inactivity.

Can I suggest the alchemist guild voting gets changed to the same system all other guilds have? currently it has an entirely different setup for voting

Just see any threads that discuss magic. 'Magic ideas' being the biggest one.

There have been many active players who have contributed. We also had sprawling wikipages which sadly are now gone.

We the few active mage players still discuss things both IC and OOC and pester Turian from time to time with stuff. We try to be as open as possible with this so that the system comes first.

Mages can start original spell research with mantra create, which after some simple choices opens up a text editor where you input your idea with as much detail as possible.

The spell then might someday come to existence or not. It can be as planned or it can work differently somehow.

Magic also involves much playtesting these spells for bugs, typos and balance.

I think I can safely vouch for everyone involved that this has been a positive experience and that something similar could be used with the crafting system as well.

The scribes and alchemists have the same voting system. Votes and applications vanish after 100 days of inactivity.
