With that "t" at the end I usually say "Blitzst" or something like that. I always end it with a "t" sound (English has trouble pronouncing two or more dental consonants in a row).

Blizt, the best works of art are often products of inebriation.

(following paragraph is slightly off-topic)
Alamar, another problem with pronouncing "Blizt" (with a z and a t) might be the voicing. It's the same reason we say dogs as dogz and kicked as kickt and five+th as fifth. If you're interested in that sort of thing, you can check out something like this (which explains the phenom in 2.1): http://www.phil-fak.uni-duesseldorf.de/ ... -voice.PDF

I'm still hung up on the languages. Gnar, anyway? I say "narrr," like a disagreeing pirate.

Yay, I pronounced Yeggie's name correctly. :)

Anyway, here are some ways I pronounce a few things:

Arborea (Are-bore-ee-ah)
Elvandar (El-van-dar) (Okay, that's not really much different from the spelling..)
Asador (As-ah-door)
Quenya (Qwen-yah)
Khuzdul (Cuz-dule)
Gnar (Nar)
Tshahark (Tasha-hark)
Taniel (Tain-ee-ul)
Zhakrin (Zah-krynn)
Sathonys (Sah-th-own-ees)
Asral (ass-rule) (Uh, I doubt that is right, but it's what it sounds like to me! Sorry to any Asral fans. :P)
Naarved (Narr-vid)
El Deliah (El-delli-ahh) (Or El-duh-lie-ahh/El-del-lie-ahh)
Delia (Duh-lie-ahh/Del-lie-ahh) (This is why I sometimes pronounce ED in multiple ways)
Blizt (Blizz-t)
Xexo (Zex-Zoh)

I'll mention more as I think of them.

Oh, and as for Tessa, there's probably no way to really get hers wrong. It's just (Tes-sah).

Ack! Now I'm questioning my inconsistent pronounciations.

I say:
El Deliah as El-duh-lie-ah
but Delia as Deh-lee-uh

I always imagined Asral as AS-ruhl, and for whatever reason, I just say "Shark" instead of "Tshahark." When I started I thought it was "shar-hack," so I still think of it that way too. :D

I say Dee-Lee-uh for Delia... mostly because of the Greek island which is the source for many historical events: Delian League, Delia the lover of the Roman poet Tibullus, etc.

Not THE way to pronounce it, but it's how most Greek speakers say it.

Yeah, Delia and Eal-Deliah proposed a problem that I solved much like Devi, with Delia as Deh-lee-uh and Eal-Deliah as Ee-al Del-aye-ah (meh, this alphabet does not work well for this, I blame English vowels).

Tshahark I always pronounced Chah-hark, with the "h" pause as the only difference between Tshahark and Tchark (Chark).

Khuzdul I pronounce Cooz-dull.

I'm never going to stop calling Yegerfin "Jaeger", just because that's what I thought first. :)

Fun! It's amazing how different we can all think things sound when we are all supposedly speaking the same language. Alas, wishing gets me nowhere, so I'll accept that our alphabet will never be phonetic.
