Magic: Use Of Emotes
How do people feel about "magic-emotes"? Meaning after casting a spell with a duration making emotes about controlling the effect somehow? Of course any forced emotes are straight out, as they always should be. What would be preferable and what would be a strict no?
Some examples I've used so far...(can't remember the wordings so I'll just type something vague)
Firefinger:
Delia glares at her burning finger and the fire seems to flicker, after which it starts to flare for a short moment.
Delia blows on her burning finger, trying to extinguish the flame.
Fireglobe:( this one might be stretching it a bit... )
Delia performs short series of hand-gestures and the fireglobe starts to hover towards the fountain, plummeting into the water and disappearing with a hiss.

It is not a better idea to add that 'magic emotes' to spells? Maybe be with an option for 'extened' messages.
If we want to invest much work we can add personal frontend for 'magic emotes' so that any mage can make it own 'magic emotes'.
But there will be danger abuse and spamming the surrounding the nonsense.

We could add servrel 'magic emote' variants and the mages choose the wanted variants. There is a base which define which emote fits to which spell.
example for firefinger, start 10,12,14 and end 67,68
So the mages choose firefinger-start -> emote12 and firefiger-end emote67.
So we get some diversity and can can be sure that there fitting emotes.
But it this feature worth to invest so much time and work?

While the feature definitely would add a lot of colour, it would not be that visible, as the number of magic-using characters is phenomenally low. I think its definitely worth looking into when/if there is time and place for it, but as things are now, it might just divert precious time from other projects currently. But it this feature worth to invest so much time and work?
?
edit
Need to add, so that no-one gets the wrong idea, that I'm all for it. If there is time and will for this I'm ready to supply ideas at the pace they come up.
