Abandoned Places

#1 Post by Arwenth » Thu Jun 18, 2009 12:07 am

http://www.dirjournal.com/info/abandone ... the-world/

http://www.abandoned-places.com

These two links consist of (imho) interesting photography done of ghost towns and other abandoned places around the world. I can't remember which link it's under but there's a set that made me think of Eal-Deliah for some reason which is what let led to me sharing these links.

I kinda like it there. Plenty of undead to hit, the ones way outta my league can be carefully avoided, and plenty to explore. Plus the whole beating up the undead thing. What more could a tshahark ask for?

Being in the Crusade.

That's all anyone could ask for really. I mean we get shining axes of doom...And Unicorns don't forget the unicorns

probably about as much as a 10 metre tall giant smashing a club on your head. so I could take about seven gores from a rhino.

So, anyone ever actually SEEN a ghost in an abandoned building? I've seen an eighty-year old house that was not connected to any electrical grid light up like the Fourth of July, complete with shadows from the curtains. There was classical music coming from the place too.

the mind sees what it wants to see in my opinion. i honestly think the mind can make you believe anything. it's so malleable really anything is possible, the main reason we see certain things is because of our experiences and what we have heard. that is why most people who are healthy will see a common thing. if i look down I see a keyboard with keys in a certain place, another person may see something else.

as for ghosts, i really don't think ghosts exist anywhere but in your head and they are seen only because they want to be seen by the people "seeing" them.

then again perhaps they do exist and my mind just chooses not to see them... oh it's all so paradoxical.
