Dragan throws his head his head back and spreads his arms, wrincing in pain as if liquid fire surges through his veins.

Jezz walks in.

You are physically somewhat hurt and mentally indisposed.
You are somewhat alert.

Dragan wrinces and shakes as if he is either in great pain or ecstasy. Then
he calms down and looks down on his hands, having a wicked grin on his face.

You start to chant the prayer and to make the gestures for the 'cause pain' miracle.
Your wounds start to bleed.
Dragan tries to punch your torso, but you avoid the attack.

You can only laugh about such a silly attempt.

As Dragan touches you, some divine power leaves his hands and impacts into
your body, destroying flesh and nerves!
ARRGGGGGGHHHHHH!!!!

You abort the miracle 'cause pain'.

Dragan looks at you.

Jynn shoots a wooden arrow at Dragan.
Dragan is missed by a wooden arrow.
You are physically not in a good shape and mentally worn down.
You are bleeding.
You are somewhat alert.
Holy Shit. That must be some old logs. Do not even remember the usage of missiles at that time. :)

Anyway, it was back in the old days when punch still released the slay miracle - no matter if you hit or not. Or in other words, when Dragan still was adapted to the mud and was a strong Satho. Today he is no danger at all.

Seriously - the miracles of Satho clerics are no match for the Taniel clergy. The Asral clergy is no match either. Smite, waterlance and iceskin do the trick against both the other clergies. None of them got a miracle that can take you from full health to deaths door. This trick is reserved for the Taniels.

I'll agree on one thing, the asral miracles suck. It's not a surprise that they're the weakest clergy in the game.

The satho miracles on the other hand do not suck. I have a feeling some players just don't get how to use them. Sure iceskin gets you down to death doors, but the easy solution is to avoid knees, punches, bodychecks etc. sure its annoying but oftentimes unless the cleric is alone they'll be in the backrow anyway and theyre not who you'd be aiming for. Curse and mindblast alone are enough to shut down a team.

Sure its instant win, but only when it works. Unlike iceskin the asral paralysis miracle is based practically on random chance. Plus the shitiness of the rest of their miracles isn't balanced by one

Team combat and solo combat are two totally different issues. :)

A cleric is always screwed against the warrior who runs in and out to avoid miracles. This hits primary in one on one though.

The problem with team combat is simply that a Crusader just splits any evil team running into all directions - no chance to resist and no delay on re-use.

Well, this was not supposed to be a complain thread. :)

Ahh, so I guess slay (which is actually shit too) isn't a one trick pony either?

lol Crusaders obviously wouldn't be that broken, sure they can split people up but it's not impossible to resist it.
