wrong place, wrong time

#1 Post by Phelan » Fri Jun 17, 2011 4:05 pm

This poor guy chose a bad moment to log in
Elvandar market place:

A well-muscled broad-shouldered male tshahark enters the game.

The well-muscled broad-shouldered male tshahark waves.

... a few seconds later ...

The well-muscled broad-shouldered male tshahark's left arm got hit by a
wooden arrow.
The well-muscled broad-shouldered male tshahark's wounds start to bleed.
The well-muscled broad-shouldered male tshahark storms out north.
The gruesome masked human laughs.

The gruesome masked tshahark laughs.
The gruesome masked dwarf throws his head back and cackles with glee!
You laugh.

I laughed--that's happened to me before, when I was a newbster!!!

On a side note--somebody who looked like a new character died during the raid. Don't know how it happened, haven't done much asking. Not trying to point fingers or anything.

I would just like to remind all players to be careful, and to try to prevent unnecessary bloodshed against new chars. Most of us like new chars to stick around!
There are very few personal problems that cannot be solved by a suitable application of high explosives.

It was an accident, apparently being shackled doesn't protect you from certain room attacks. On the other hand, if you see a big team killing everything on its way and you were asked to leave several times and instead you keep following that team, then you have to expect to be beaten up.

Bad timing indeed but this old log still wins it!
