New Area - Derring

If it's no bug or an idea, but it's still MUD-related, it goes here.

I had the time to do some heavy exploring. I like the new areas! Lots of small fun stuff to be found. All the monster areas seemed to be geared for higher level players though. Atleast the ones I could find. Then again, I guess Derring will change that.

I an perfectly happy they do not attack Delia, now only if she could flash some Evren secret signal and make them team with her it would be perfect

Delia is right, Derring will be a very newbie friendly place, the whole area is designed for newbies and small players.

Do you only have to help Georg once to have training enabled, has it been changed? D was able to take a lesson from him even without repeating the errand. I think having to help him xor each lesson is quite nice as it forces the player towards some effort atleast and curbs the learning rate.

And I noticed that the whole yeti template was changed...no more shao yeti :( but I guess they are more logical now. And pack quite a wallop as well! I am beginning to be very inclined towards sub-races and having Delia be a snow elf, the Queen of the yeti.

I have reported the multiple lessons possibility as a possible bug IG.

The queen of the Yeti? HA! I strongly hope they only will accept an Elf as Queen if his Elf remains in permanent translucent state, preferrably also missing at least five limbs :)
