Gerrit

I always feel sad when Gerrit the halfling fish man is yet again murdered.

It seems unless I am very wrong that he does not seem able to get resurrected and given a new body once he has been killed and ends up missing until the next arma.

I also feel sad that if hes not murdered but gets the plague that he ends up on the ground and even when the illness passes he cant stand up and start moving again.

He is a wonderful ambassador for the Gnar language and so many people who are wanting to learn that language miss out on his expertise and chatter which helps them learn this language.

I always put any halflings I meet into Gnar language if they have changed to speaking any other language its my little contribution to promoting the Halfling race's natural Language.

Well, there is another reason that some people "murder" Gerrit. It has an in game advantage for some. He will not get a new body due to other factors as well. However just murdering him to accomplish this would make them a very evil bastard ;) It is not something to be given away here though. I am sure you can find the answer easily enough. Triska could try to find out more about him, and the answer should soon follow.

Also, if you don't want him getting plagued you could try to help him. You have plenty of options.

From a halfling perspective, Zengo doesn't want everyone knowing the secrets of the halfling empire, including their language. They are a somewhat greedy, and secretive bunch.

Edited for more clarification of why he does not get a new body.

You all should really listen to your mothers when they warn about strangers offering weird fishes! Or atleast that is as much as I deduced.
