Most of the time evil guys don't want to be seen. If you do, then they probably want you to and you should be worried.

Re: Evil/Good Balance
How about a general de-emphasis on religion? I could write more but I want to keep it simple for now.
Best race: halflings.

Re: Evil/Good Balance
There is no post-modern approach to Geas like in our world.
There is no denying the gods.
There is no plausible de-emphasis of religion. Geas is based on the gods. Those gods have tangible effects and actions that affect the entire world of Geas constantly. If religions were de-emphasized, Geas would no longer be Geas. I for one would not be appearing any more.

There's no chance at all that it would work either. Considering all the major factions are religion based, the entire conflicts revolve around religion, and almost everything roleplay wise also falls to religion

Geas without a focus on religious conflict would be like fishing sober.

Or going to church sober. It's just a bad idea. Religious conflict is the main RP element of the game. It's just the way it is. I personally wish it was different, but, meh.

Hey, poAdanath got poMatusalem's joke.adanath wrote:Who in the hell would go fishing sober?
Definitely in agreement with those two. Geas without religious conflict is not Geas anymore.
After all, there would be no other reason why certain people raise so many undead playthings to busy ourselves with; surely, cultures where unaided human reason is the pinnacle of everything would not trouble themselves with such nonsense. Ganon would have nothing to do but sit on a bar stool drinking himself silly, so that when Luminier finds him he can't fight back, and he burns for three days. And if you think that Caelia is too zealous or bigoted or whatever, you really don't want to see her bored and unemployed.

I'd try to find myself a princess or two to capture. And build myself a good castle to keep her in.caelia wrote:Ganon would have nothing to do but sit on a bar stool drinking himself silly

Mmm. Magic. Probably my number one distraction from Geas (as far as eating my free time goes). Do you play much, poSkragna?

Bah, I only use MWS when I badly have to test Standard decks (aka I need to convince myself that they are poorly realized ideas). It's really something I prefer to do when I can sit across from my opponent(s). Social gaming > instant gratification here.ganandorf wrote:Haha isengorn your triforce is crooked.

Re: Evil/Good Balance
the crooked triforce is some 4chan meme or something. i haven't bothered to look into its actual meaning.
Magic is awesome. And I don't care what people say - it's not nerdy, it's just awesome.
