Before the book change there was atleast one tshahark who was surprisingly intelligent(for a tshahark), even if learning from books was terribly hard for him.
Now when learning is strongly guild-oriented tshaharks effectively lost the ability to learn things(mostly languages, though Skalds teach a bit more these days(?)) that other races can.
Just a thought...if one's learning skill was amazingly high enough would it not be fun if new skills could be actually taught? Should involve both time and RP though, not just "teach nifty skill to X".

If you wish, I imagine I could make it so that if players try to speak in too long and complex sentences with their tshaharks, they are automatically replaced with grunts and growls, without any notice to the player.
