I'm not sure if I am REALLY REALLY proud that I did not in fact think that drawing looked nasty, or just a bit bewildered why everyone else did jump straight to that.
I'm guessing a bit of 'A' and 'B' lol

Re: Character wallpaper
I would say Im "addicted" to porn about as "addicted" I am to marijuana. I can easily get by without either of them, and enjoy both.
Didn't you tell me you drew half naked women for some other dude you knew in Canada? =D

Re: Character wallpaper
Because all my characters start naked -.- Especially girls. For all my girl chars you can literally just take off the layer for their clothes and they would be naked Like... the picture with Avisa just wearing snakes for example you can clearly see the entire outline of the body.
And yeah you don't need porn cause you have your dirty dirty imagination >.<

Nothing wrong with porn, I suppose. Some like it some don't.
When it comes to drugs well.. Glenn Beck openly admits to smoking that crap for 15 years before becoming what he is today. That alone is more then enough reason to not smoke it for me -lol-

Know what we ought to do with the wallpaper?
Stick it onto the official homepage somewhere!
Like, a link ... "player art". (Of course only if that is wanted by admin and allowed by the wallpaper creator.)

I would also argue that marijuana is much safer than quite a few drugs that are legal. Also, it is used clinically in helping sick people. Not sure, but, I haven't heard of doctors prescribing alcohol to help fix diseases or ease pain.

Was not alcohol used as anesthesia before operations in the good ol' times?luminier wrote: Also, it is used clinically in helping sick people. Not sure, but, I haven't heard of doctors prescribing alcohol to help fix diseases or ease pain.
Amputation? Get drunk first.

Nurse: Doctor, he looks to be in pain should we give him morphine?
Doctor: Nah, get him some aged whiskey from the back. We used it in the good ol' times.

Re: Character wallpaper
Not true, many doctors tell their PTs to have some wine a day in their later years. Unlike weed, which suddenly "started to help people" when it became fashionable to smoke it.
And last time I checked, wine was alcohol....
My point about Beck is that it wasn't until after his years of smoking a drug which whos purpose is to screw up reality that had got AS odd as he is now. I mean, if you don't want to end up like Whitney and Bobby Brown, ya don't hit the rock, ya know?
A player fan art section would be awesome. Hmm.. must resist urge to make poorly drawn MSPaint stickfigure Geas comic.

Re: Character wallpaper
Sorry to continue on a wild tangent but...
Amaleth it's blatently obvious that you know very little about what you're talking about. Marijuana didnt just become popular to smoke, its been growing wild all around the world for thousands of years. Are you sure some resourceful people did not figure out that it has benefitial properties a long ass time ago? It was not that long ago in the human timeline that people suddenly decided it was something bad.
Also you should probably be the one to break it to people with:
* Severe pain and/or persistent muscle spasms from multiple sclerosis;
* Severe pain and/or persistent muscle spasms from a spinal cord injury;
* Severe pain and/or persistent muscle spasms from spinal cord disease;
* Severe pain, cachexia, anorexia, weight loss, and/or severe nausea from cancer;
* Severe pain, cachexia, anorexia, weight loss, and/or severe nausea from HIV/AIDS infection;
* Severe pain from severe forms of arthritis; or
* Seizures from epilepsy.
Just to name a few, that their prescribed medicine is not helping them, I'm sure they'll have a few things to respond with.
Of course some people have medical marijuana that dont need it. Thats due to the fact that if they were to get it any other way, they would be fined or jailed.
Also...
It's physically impossible to overdose.

Re: Character wallpaper
And once again, its time to lay down some truth:
Noone is saying that it does not help a small faction of people. However, a lot of those people using it do not have a health condition that requires it. It is still, primary, what they call a 'recreational drug'. (If you don't know what that means, please google it.)
They use to use cocaine for the same reasons: IE: It had medical properties and for recreational drug use. Everyone thought it was great, and that it posed no danger. They where wrong. I am aware that some cultures have used it for a long time, and some cultures will continue to use it.
Likewise: I know a woman with Spina Bifida, who has the severe pain, the muscle spasms, and still does not smoke weed. (Seriously, SB is a horrible, horrible disease that I would not wish on my greatest enemy anymore then I would MS.) Now, I am not saying weed could or could not help her nor those poor people you listed. Infact, I have no problem with people who are TRULY that bad off smoking weed, or hell doing coke or injecting horse, if it has medical proof.
My ire is saved for those low down scum snake in the grass types who try to use the disable needing it as an excuse as to why it should be legal for THEM to use it. I am not saying anyone here does that, but since the subject came up I will throw up my 20 cents. As far as I am concerned, hiding behind the disabled is almost as low as you can get, with very few things being worse.
I will apologize for saying it "suddenly started to help people" but instead will say "when it suddenly became /popular/ for it to help people and sparking yet another pointless and self-serving media war".
Oh, side note: I call it a 'fashionable' drug because it is. They swore it would be legal and everyone would use it in the 60s/early 70s, by the 80s we where making fun of the stoners who used it. Enter the late 90s, and suddenly its popular again. In time, it will phase out, go quiet, come back, and THAT generation will forget that THIS generation already had this battle. Of all the illegal drugs, it is (I admit) the safest, which makes it a good drug to be the focal point. That is it.
