Clear winner is the voulge. So underused - I had a character who had one. Look at that! Pole-cleaver! And that blade looks really securely fastened.
Edit: Also, that bardiche is way too long. Bardiches were characteristically very short-hafted but long bladed. Usually not much longer than 5 feet.

What are you on, crack? The best is, quite clearly, the bec de corbin. Blade, point AND a hammer.

You are all wrong. The best pole weapon is binding a darkelf to a pole and whacking things with him/her. Duh.

Psh. A bec de corbin is just a halberd where someone severely messed up the blade.
Admittedly, most side-bladed polearms (that's to say, the ones that aren't straight out of the end, spear-like) really should have guisarmes, the hooks on the back for pulling armoured riders off their horses.
So, voulge-guisarme.

Re: A handy pole weapon guide!
Lochaber axes are just bardiches (often bardiche-guisarmes) used by Scots. They certainly aren't unique enough to merit a name of their own, so I pretty much disregard lochaber axe as a different polearm class.

Well, those are western-style weapons, all of them. How about a nice overview on chinese/oriental style polearms?
