Deflect

#1 Post by thoroh » Thu Jan 19, 2012 9:37 pm

Hi

Im confused about deflect.

All other factors remaining the same a very very simple nonsensical change can alter my deflection level, increasing it.

Here's an example.
ENCUMBRANCE : You are encumbered with 7% weight and 15% volume of your
maximum capacity.

>drop shield
You drop a round wooden shield.
>deflect
deflect-status: godly

>take shield
You take a round wooden shield.
>deflect
deflect-status: ultimate

How in the heck does carrying a bulky wooden shield in my inventory make me better at deflecting.

very poor, pretty poor, poor, average, above average,
fair, decent, quite decent, good, very good,
extremely good, amazing, godly, ultimate.

I could be wrong but 'godly' is supposed to be better than 'ultimate'.

That makes sense! I'll wait for administration to confirm yes?

I used 'report' to ask about this as well.

Hi,

godly is higher then deflect.

1. The highest deflect is achieved by carrying nearly nothing while having no weapon
wielded.
2. if the deflect goes down to ultimate, my char does get hit a lot more often in comparison.

therefore I think it's reasonable to assume that godly is the highest state of deflect, though I agree it should be clarified.

Yes. Read 'help deflect'. Levels are at the bottom.
