Well sure, I am not saying, be stupid and kill yourself to every random mob. But it's an equal fight or a fight where the aggressor is much stronger... isn't running away cowardly?
And Sathonites should follow the law when it benefits them, obviously.
Notice how I didn't say "play retardedly"

The right man in the wrong place can make all the difference in the world.

Now now, let's not flirt with the IC/OOC line. I'd say this is a roleplay problem and should therefore have a roleplay solution (and appropriately, this thread is in the roleplay section). If things like this become overly coded, it devalues the clergies as religious leaders and just makes them the bitches of the gods.

As a member of the clergy of Taniel, I took her outlook and archetype from the Lawful Good/Principled alignments along with a healthy dose of Tolkien elven seasoning. Having said that, Taniel should absolutely smite righteously the offending priest that fosters chaos, darkness and death. Not obeying the law because it is one you don't like makes you a sinner. I can see my character either refusing to speak about a subject or avoiding the question all together.
As an aside, I play rpis where adherance to the theme of the game is crucial and enforced. I know that I can't control the twink that power-games to an insane degree but I can at least stay true to my character. Will that put me in conflict with other characters. ..I hope so. If not, then I'm doing a bad job of rp.
