I suggest that you have a look at the various mods as the game is easily moddable. I recommend the latest stable 'community edition'-mod atleast. There was one mod which added more earl game conventional weapon but that one has been discontinued and the paths are way past that. Also its bundled annoyingly. If I have the time someday, I might take a look at it, as the first weapons you have could be bit more varied.

Currently I am rather distracted from Geas by MWO, MechWarrior Online. As an old battletech tabletop player it gives me quite a lot of the experience I usually only enjoy a couple of times a year when I meet with my old buddies from university to sit together for a weekend and play tabletop again.

Faster Than Light is a fun game. I almost even completed it once! The RNG was not strong in me with this one.

Still hooked on Xenonauts though. Slowly building up technologies and more bases and the invasion seems to gather momentum as well. Liberal amounts of C4 seems to help in tough ground combat situations very well even if it does cut back your profits.

i loved the variety of ships in FTL and the different ways to play it. The Kestrel B with 4 lasers is still my favourite start ship though haha

MWO is a terrible game for those who fell in love with older MechWarrior games. Mainly because of Phantom/Ghost Heat. XCOM: EU isn't all bad, but it's nothing like the original UFO Defense. If anyone here thinks XCOM: EU was too easy, grab Open XCOM and play that. I can just about guarantee that at least two rookies will die on your first mission! (Hint: GRENADES ARE YOUR FRIENDS)

Me, I've been playing all sorts of stuff. Dragon Age: Inquisition for a bit, Shadows of Mordor, Dead Space 2, Deadpool, Warhammer 40k: SPESS MAHREEN!, and XCOM: EU.

Even if you're not interested in buying The Witcher 3, this review is still hilarious.

This one is a cache of unblemished souls.

Very slow paced and very much fun.
I have lost three captains to the Underzee already.
