Active Live Quest
Just to inform those of you with little time and longer periods of absence from Geas.... There is currently a live quest going on. (Started about February 25th)
In order not to rob you of the joy in discovering all the details, I'll just mention that it involves a greenskin/lilithian story arc and so far almost all settlements south of the tundra have been included. Many town boards contain notes and eyewitness reports.
So, join in !

It precisely reminds me of you, Delmon.
Nibbler: I didn't travel back in time! My people lack that ability.
Fry: But... I know you in the future! I clean your poop!
Nibbler: Quite possible. We live long and are celebrated poopers.

Re: Active Live Quest
This quest seems rather one-sided, at best. That is, one side has a win condition, and the other side can only delay it. I'm disappointed. Somehow, goblins can form armies throughout the history of this game, but the civilized cities never can, instead relying on one or two player characters who end up being drastically outnumbered. It's certainly not encouraging when I'm already struggling to find reasons to play.

Re: Active Live Quest
It would be interesting to see some permanent changes as a result.
One thing that has been an issue though is the gate guards blocking exits and causing PC defenders to die as a result... Could either blocking be removed or could there be a way for them to distinguish city defenders from enemies?

It should be said that despite my misgivings about this when I returned to the game, it was pretty well thought-out. It was good, and I'd like to thank the person responsible.

Unfortunately the people that were involved in the (apparently) final chapters of the Live Quest forgot to post about "the end" on the public boards....
