It's Morning.
The rooftop of this marble building has been slightly fortified by thick,
wooden planks and wooden blocks. The wooden parts extend to cover the
ground, and the thicker blocks form a barrier which would barely reach the
waist of a normal gnoll. The rooftop can be accessed via a hole in its
northeastern corner. A chair is situated near the western wall. The
Ironhold Mountain rises to the west, with the Mining Road climbing up to
the top.
There is one obvious exit: down.
A stinking hairy male gnoll (surveying the area boredly).

Aturshus[elf] gracefully enters from down.

Wiry yet strong, this goblinoid's body is painted with many black stripes.
His head is covered in matted fur and a long dog-like snout sniffs the air
carefully. A tuft of brown fur juts out from the top of his scalp at an
angle.

I find this helpfile so funny, because there is obviously very little to write.

It's Day.
At the city gate of Elvandar.
As near the Elvandar city walls, you are impressed by the craftsmanship of
the builders who constructed this huge, massive gate. White ornamented
marble flanks the heavy oaken doors and you notice detailed pictures of
animals and legendary creatures carved into the wood. Despite its beauty
and elegance, it looks nearly impossible to break this gate open with brute
force. A street leads north into Elvandar, and you can leave the city to
the south.
Some lit torches hang from the walls. Three of the six torches are lit.
A large, wooden watchtower has been erected here.

There are two obvious exits: north[r], south[r].

vegetation here lush and healthy. Trees surround you, and a thick carpet of
pine needles cushions your feet. The air is crisp and cool, and light
filters through the branches to dapple the ground around you, making quite
a pretty sight. A road continues south through the forest and north to a
gigantic marble gate which leads obviously into a city.

It is saddled with an ornamented leather saddle.
A leather saddle-bag has been attached to the ornamented leather saddle.
It looks coarse.
It is in good shape.
It is extremely alert.
It is wearing a metal armour with red cover.
