Hi guys! I know this is pretty much a dead topic....I just happened to stumble across something that answered a question I'd harboured for a long time. The skill "bookbindery" has always bugged me a little since it's not actually a word...I thought perhaps "bookbinding" would be better fitting for the skill. However, by random chance, I stumbled upon the RIGHT word, and that gives me such a pleasant feeling as I am a dorky word collector.
Bibliopegy is the word for the art and craft of binding books. If you care, and if you want to change it, do so. I can't guarantee that anyone will understand it though, since it was a curiosity to me, a lifelong speaker of English. At any rate, here's a slightly more credible source than me:
