Oh, it's not because she's dumb. Delia, Galator, Stilgar, and Itenin have all tried to promote her several times (perhaps Iske and Yegerfin too, I forget). They just have yet to succeed.

Also, it's been about 18 years now.

He did, like a week or so after he accepted her. I remember it clearly. It was just outside the Gwen shrine (or inside). I remember pausing before rejecting, deciding I wanted to keep her as a white belt for a while longer (didn't expect to get attached to my white belt though).

On the other hand, considering the amount of flings, relationships, and marriages of Asralite followers compared to others, it seems Asral encourages more than just the raging passion on the battlefield.
