What's a quote that you figure describes your character or a quote/phrase from another player that you enjoy?

I personally like Matusalem's thoughts on cake. As for Arwenth's quote...I can't think of one...so someone will have to give me a suggestion maybe

Im not sure I know what you are asking for, a quote? or just an interesting roleplayed quirk.

A quote but a really noticeable quirk would be just as interesting.

"I eats nothin but roast beef!"

One I used a few times ages past...

"Understanding is not required, only obedience."

Well I think we can all agree "Be well" is pretty signature of Luminier.

Pretty much any of the Crusader vows can be a quote, however my personal favourite Crusader quote is "Evil starts with corruption. Corruption starts with neutrality. Neutrality starts with indifference." which isn't a vow obviously.

One I have always wanted to use is "No rest. No mercy. No matter what."

For Caelia, it's probably "Order is the highest principle, for all things, even the gods, are subject to it." I make clerics these days jump through various and sundry philosophical hoops before I accept them, so this one usually comes up.

Maybe those of you who spend time with Caelia can help me out here. She projects a generally serious exterior, and only lets you see a glimpse of her soul when she gets to know you. She's very philosophical (or at least I try), so most of the statements I'm most fond of are part of some lengthy discussion, and separated from the context of that discussion, they're not very quotable.


As for others... I usually log conversations because I'll need to remember them, and there are more than a few I wish I had saved because they did a good job of revealing some facet of a character.

I did find this one, though:

Arwenth asks in Common: Do they talk before or after they see the shining axe of doom?
Luminier says deeply and quietly in Common: Shining axe of doom helps.


There was some entertaining dialog with Adanath on my abortive attempt to craft a boar meat potion for him, but only this one made it to the logs:

Yes and not only on Akroma's Memorial it's on Akroma, Angel of Wrath too. Magic is a great game.

It wasn't a guess. Anyone with eyes can see that Damanta is just a rotund, cake-eating, lazy, flirt bag, and Luminier only has one. *eye-patch smiley*
