As characters get older do they have any signs of aging that sort of happen (Like hair color changing?) or is the only way to know how old they are to appraise them?

Greying hair grey/white hair would be cool to have.

RP it!
If you change hair color now, everyone will forget you...

An aging Luminier would be cool to have.

I think it would be neat if descriptors like "very young" would eventually change to "young" etc. as one grows older. If there is any way to do that without it messing up remembering people at least... Though my guess is it might be tricky.

I am aging. Check the desc.

I still think that it is better to support what would be doable by roleplay via code. You can roleplay greying or white hair and put up a corresponding description, but if the next line reads:
"You have long black hair."
Then it just feels strange to me.

Right now age has no actual effect on your character. Changing hair colors would also be a problem, since hair color is along eye color, appearance and a bunch of other factors a part of your remember description. Change any of those parts, and people will forget your name.

What about instead of actually changing those a line is added 'So and so appears to show signs of aging' which without implicitly giving grey hair and such it indicates that the aging process is happening?

Sounds quite trivial and good!

Well, of course we could add this "greying" adjective after a certain age is reached without the hair-colour that is used in the remembering stuff to be spoiled.

I'd rather not have anything set for this, as it reduces the chance to choose how your character ages. Perhaps an options for thinning or graying hair would be better?
And of course; do all races get gray hair when they're old?
Perhaps tshaharks get blue scales at the age of sixty-three and a half.

I don't think tshaharks even have hair, so they would most likely be an exception

Elves and dwarves age so slowly that an old one would probably be a very rare sight (unless you'd ask a wizard for it).
You _already_ have the apparent age as part of your description, and you can't change it on your own, so grey hair wouldn't be any different. Sure, you can put it in your description, but if it contradicts your apparent age, most people will comment on that, which I find rather annoying.

Matusalem is amusingly old (ancient?) His beard, last I checked, (unless I remember wrongly,) is brown. Of course, he has a lot of wrinkles...(EDIT: In my imagination, at least.)
What I mean is that it should be up to the player to decide how their character ages. If graying hair'd be the logical choice, then perhaps add an option for such. Having characters automatically get graying hair once they reach a certain age, however, is a bad idea. In my opinion, that is.

It could be a flag.
If a player wants to, he could set that flag once, and have his character show "aging" effects.

Boldness in following quote was not there originally:

Agreed...
Now...
Who likes the idea of anti-aging potions?

I guess pretty much anyone who enjoys having to purchase one yearly for a lot
of money - I was thinking of around 500 gold coins or 95% of what the char
purchasing one owns, whichever is more.
