Words Women Use

#1 Post by Drake » Fri Jul 22, 2005 12:33 am

Someone I work with just forwarded this to me, either she was trying to make me laugh, or warning me in advance for next week....

FINE
This is the word women use to end an argument when they are right and you need to shut up.

FIVE MINUTES
If she is getting dressed, this is half an hour. Five minutes is only five minutes if you have just been given 5 more minutes to watch the game before helping around the house.

NOTHING
This is the calm before the storm. This means "something," and you should be on your toes. Arguments that begin with 'Nothing' usually end
in "Fine"

GO AHEAD
This is a dare, not permission. Don't do it.

LOUD SIGH
This is not actually a word, but is a non-verbal statement often misunderstood by men. A "Loud Sigh" means she thinks you are an idiot and wonders why she is wasting her time standing here and arguing with you over "Nothing"

THAT'S OKAY
This is one of the most dangerous statements that a woman can make to
a man. "That's Okay" means that she wants to think long and hard before deciding how and when you will pay for your mistake.

THANKS
A woman is thanking you. Do not question it or faint. Just say you're welcome.

Thought I'd just post it here since I've nothing better to do at this very second.

Nah, to code something just now I would need to fire a brain cell up, and they are both on strike at the moment.

Never trust something that bleeds for a week and doesn't die.

Nah...if a man asks me what's wrong and I say nothing, it's really nothing. If something IS wrong, I will discuss it in great detail until he either falls asleep or kills me. Needless to say, men don't tend to ask me what's wrong very often. :P

I don't participate in this thread because I am very, very aware of Darwin's theory of natural selection, and I'd like to stay a bit longer in the genetic pool. Concerning Stilgar... oh well, where can I send your wife an email with a link to this thread? :)

Ehehe she already knows me

I can freely express these kind of thought in cyberspace as long as I do the dishes and keep the bathroom clean
