I don't know if it is real or imagined or might be due to recent deaths. But somehow it seems to me that my stamina gets drained way faster without being more encumbered or loaded than normal.

I used to be able to move quickly between Arborea and Elvandar without even breaking sweat, nowadays I seem to be able to move just half a dozen rooms or so before being too drained by stamina to continue moving, despite still having nearly full fatigue. And no, I am not wielding any other weapon than a one-handed weapon marked as walking stick.

It also seems that simply standing around and talking does help nothing with recovering stamina. I just had a nice long talk, well over 10 RL minutes, and was still completely out of breath!

I think the latter post qualifies as a bug.
