Re: Players IRL
rofl thats not guinness... you can tell by the fact it's in a PLASTIC CUP, and you don't drink the brew of the GODS in a plastic cup. second of all, the drink is transparent, you can see her thumb on the other side of it - Guinness is wayyy too dark for that.
my guess? probably rickards red or some cheap knock off.

Ummm. I don't remember. We were at a baseball game whenever baseball season was last year! I just remember that they cost $9 a beer and it wasn't domestic.
And I don't usually drink random cheap knockoff shit, silly Canadian. But mostly because of the whole acetaldehyde dehydrogenase stuff leaves me with a pretty low tolerance. There's no reason to drink cheap crap if you get drunk off a couple anyways. =p

Yeah. That's extortion, jesus. That had better be ambrosia.luminier wrote:9 bucks a beer? jesus i could get almost TWO guinness for that.
One more reason TV > live sports. Just gather the people you like, the alcohol you like, and be in your own comfort zone. No smelly strangers or overpriced junk.

Really? I think live sports are amazingly fun with good friends. Plus, this was local minor league baseball, so it was way chill and the tickets were cheap. We definitely visited the bar -before- going to the game to try to cut costs on alcohol during the event, though.
I don't make -that- much. Haha.

Visiting the bar and cutting costs in the same sentence? Psh.Avisa wrote:Really? I think live sports are amazingly fun with good friends. If people could smoke in public, my friends and I would enjoy live sports more. I am a fan of a semi-crowded room of good friends with people spilling off the couch and easy access to video games and Magic cards after the sports go down (and of course, illegal stuff). Lazy Sunday, it's a very important tradition.

Re: Players IRL
That's why I don't drink beer at all when I go out. For nine bucks I'd rather have a Long Island Ice tea and let Tequila, Rum, Gin, Whiskey, vodka and a splash of triple sec party hard together in one glass. I like bang for my buck.luminier wrote:9 bucks a beer? jesus i could get almost TWO guinness for that.

Alright, since I got into a chainsaw fight with twelve masked dudes in a nearby park, I thought it fitting to put up a new picture of my skull-like visage and try to reboot this thread!
EDIT: forgot the picture.

Me looking contemplative. Note: Friend's glasses, I am blessed with perfect vision but unfortunately lacking in foresight.

And lo! The face behind Drayn

Akulli is doing the gestures for the 'resurrection' miracle!
Akulli resurrects a thread!
I lack any proper paintings of myself IRL, so instead I will simply post the smiley I most identify with, until I *do* get a painting made.
So, for the time being, this is me:
