I've moved on.
Hello, folks.
A month, or maybe it was two months ago already, I made a decision to quit the game and mostly sever my connections to the community. A multitude of factors pushed me away, but it can mostly be boiled down to the fact that I didn't like that I was playing as often as I was, and I wasn't getting what I wanted out of the game.
I would like to thank everyone who made the years I spent here enjoyable. I have had a lot of good memories roleplaying with you, PvPing with you, and getting to know the people behind the PCs as my friends.
To those I have offended by quitting, I must apologize.
Before things came to a head, I was one who was trying to stir the pot, hoping to make the game more interesting for myself and others. What I found was that I didn't usually make the experience more fun for others, and being a griefer for the sake of griefing is actually not fun for me. Even though I intended to play within bounds trying not to extremely aggravate other players, I often misjudged where those bounds were. I think there are two major factions of people whom I may have offended by quitting: those whom I griefed (intentionally or not) who won't be able to get revenge; and those who wanted to otherwise interact with me and my character who will not be given that opportunity, especially in regards to advancing their own or their character's goals. I'd also like to apologize to my character, who had to suddenly and quietly die just because I had trouble keeping on - but I'm sure his death won't have too many people sad or asking questions.
I'll miss you, Forostar! Your marketplace musings, your romances, your godly clashes, and your backstreet stabbings, the lot. Thank you again. And to whomever picks up the cloak, good luck.
I'll be reachable by PM but will probably not respond quickly.

Re: I've moved on.
I had the same problem, I solved it by making a character that I wont be so attached to and not getting involved in the stupid politics of the game.

And Zehren's leaving too? Well, bleh. He was always strange and amusing.

Zehren was never strange. Fat kings are never strange, they are flamboyant.Eluriel wrote:We'll miss you. Thanks for all your help and working to make the game more interesting!

I concur, I believe Zehren might have, on occasion, crossdressed.Delmon wrote:Better than crossdressing
