the help wisdom file reads:


DESCRIPTION
Wisdom is your character's ability to learn and comprehend,
to profit from experience. This is used for a variety of
tasks like learning languages and mining. Your current
wisdom score can be seen using the 'stats' command.

So does that mean that improving my mining will increase my wisdom skill??

Or is that just saying in general that any skill going up will increase your wisdom skill?

Any skill that is linked to wisdom will raise your wisdom stat. Mining should be one of them.
