Custom Made Items

Just a thought raised in another topic by Grindel about custom made items being deleted.
I have been a bit sleepy myself for a while but I do recall that when custom items are made somewhere it is announced although I cannot bring to mind where it is, that custom items will be deleted if a character is not played in a real year.
I dont know the reasoning why I suspect its to prevent overload of database or whatever but I do know that if you do not play your character for a year your custom items will be deleted.
Perhaps the incentive for this is also to make sleeping players who may love that character they left sleeping wake and play again and get re addicted.
