So lets talk about something random.
If you are a firefox user, what are some of your favourite extensions?
Let me start with mine.
VideoDownloader
Adblock Plus
Tab Mix Plus
Google Toolbar
About half of the extensions I use, but the ones I find most useful.
So give us all a list of your favourite firefix extensions! (I promise I won't steal too many of them)

I think Maxthon is better.
Firefox only stuffs your comp with spyware and unwanted things IMO. (lots of bad experiences about Mozilla)

I think I made it fairly clear that the point of this thread was not a your browser is better than my browser spat.
If you want that, go and start a thread for it, just keep it out of this one.
Now, anyone caring to actually take part in the thread in the way it was intended, go for it and jump in.

I have used firefox a few times, but I didnt know about extensions until
I read Drake's post. The extensions he posted sound nice, another one I thought looked useful was Google notebook.

One really neat one that I use is called OpenBook. With it, you can assign keywords to sites so that you don't have to type in the whole URL. For example, you could assign "geas" instead of forum.geas.de. You can also do other nifty stuff with it, but that's my favorite part.
You also know about being able to assign keywords to searches, right? Like, instead of typing
www.google.com and searching there, I just type Google <searchterm> into my browser. You do it by right-clicking on a search field and selecting "add a keyword for this search." Yes, in Google's case, you could also use the search field, but you can do the same thing for any site you search on. Youtube or IMDB are two others I have set up.
That second feature was the one that really sold me on Firefox.

What is the difference between "Adblock" and "Adblock plus" anyway?

Apart from those already mentioned:
1) Dictionary tooltip - lets you check the meaning of a word by double-clicking on it - a discrete box with the definition appears. (English-English dictionary and a few others)
2) Wizz RSS news - self explanatory, I was using Sage before but this one seems to have more options
*is very proud of Drake*

What about the Australia Radio Toolbar?
All in all I have enjoyed Firefox greatly. Much less crap gets in my system without the presence of IE.
Who thinks it amusing that IE has gone to a format very similar to what Firefox has been using for so long?

FireFTP is kind of handy.. no need for a ftp client.
