I just thought that for those more unfamiliar and/or new to it might find it useful to read RP101 from
http://www.topmudsites.com/articles.shtml.
I'm not claiming I'm some RP guru ( far from it )or anything but reading that might help new players around RP and concepts of IC/OOC.
For those risking for more daunting read you could just start to browse the various "roleplaying" forums out there...just a hint of warning, they can be rather "silly". See for yourselves
