The new reputation system

If it's no bug or an idea, but it's still MUD-related, it goes here.

Hide and sneak should certainly affect reputation providing it is done poorly enough to get a notice, but I think certain circumstances should be excepted, as when hunting an animal. I'm worried that my habit of killing rabbits by leaping at them from the shadows is upsetting the townspeople, which seems a bit off.

It's a little difficult to differentiate codewise between "sneaking to kill animals" and "sneaking to ambush humans." The only ways that I could imagine it would have any chance of working at all would be so rife with potential for abuse that I can't imagine it having a positive effect.

It is, however, much more unlikely to be seen sneaking in most places where wild animal hunting takes place.

Sneaking is being taken into consideration when reputation is determined, but I will not reveal the details of "how" and "when". Sufficient to say that hunting animals via sneaking should usually not influence your reputation.
