Neuter animals, creatures

What's the deal with these guys? A bad run in with an axe?
But really, I believe this adjective is a bit extraneous. If the gender of the animal/creature isn't immediately noticeable, then it probably isn't important, so let's just do away with it.
Mostly, I would prefer not seeing 'neuter' clutter my screen anymore. I am fine with seeing the male and female adjectives, but neuter just seems out of place.
Thoughts?

What animals are like that? I can't remember any in particular except horses. And in those cases, they really
are neuter:

well after i finished dying of laughter from Malys post i decided i would answer delmon.
i believe jezz mean they were newbie at bashing trolls.
and believe me...*sigh* thats possible.
