Pub Seating

When you sit on a table in a pub, do you sit at a chair in that table or do you sit down on top of the table ? As far as I can tell one does in fact sit on the table-top, since it seems to be roleplayed by players that way.

Just curious about this.

i don't think you can sit at the bar... and yes you can sit on a chair at the table or on the table itself. It would be odd to me to be sitting on a table.

I thought the chairs where all at the bar initially.

THe inn at Nagas, you can sit -on- the bar. In the others you can sit on tables, or in the chairs.

You can also sit on the tables in my tavern, but you need to specify the table you want to sit on.

I simply emote that I take a stool by the bar (though the room desc doesn't say there are any.. nor chairs or tables.. however I do know there's a table).

Is that considered good or bad RP?

If it's at a pub, I think it's fine. It's pretty much a given that a pub will have seats, and I don't think anyone will give you grief for using an emote sit instead of a coded one (some may mention the sit command if they think you don't know of it yet, though).
