That's a nice addition!
Unfortunately the the price regulation makes it quite useless. Grindel does not want to offer a Katana for just 6 silver coins, but the system will not accept more.
Why not let the market take care of the prices? If someone is willing to pay what is asked for, fine. If no one wants it, maybe the owner can withdraw the offer or change the price, just as Sairina mentioned.

The items will stay in the shop till they are sold or the owner remove his/her offer. To remove the offer, the owner can buy it back for free.
The pricerange should prevent that a 10 gc sword is sold for 1 cc or a pebble is sold for 10 gc. So that every buyer can be sure that the price-value rate is not unfair. Altought it can be a costly acquisition!
The pricerange base on the shopprices, but you can demand more as a normal shops does (or less) and the keeper in the tradingpost tries to get more money for it.
Maybe some items are too cheap or too expensive, but this can be changed.

A lower bound for the prices sounds OK to me, but the upper one would require a lot of changes to the appraise-values of items, since the appraise does not know what is rare in the game...
Why not allow prices to go higher and let the trader make comments on them:
On valueing:
"Sure, I can try to sell this crap for 10 gold coins, but you better not ask more than $appraise_value*2 for it!"
Or on checking items:
"The seller asks 10 gold coins for this crap, which is daylight robbery if you ask me."
"The seller asks 5 gold coins for this crap, which seems to be a bit more than its worth."
"The seller asks 2 gold coins for this crap. That sounds like a reasonable price."
"The seller asks just 8 silver coins for this crap, that's a real bargain."
