Turn off give?
Is there a way to prevent people from giving things to you?
Some NPCs have a "X doesn't accept things from you message." Can PCs turn this on?
I'd like more control over what goes into my character's inventory. Being given things and then having to drop them/give them back is bad for the environment.

Usually after spending time with a group of people you tend to notice items in your inventory you just didn't notice receiving. "Now where did that PLATEMAIL came from...???"
Giving stuff is heavily abusable also...practically one can remove ALL mana and fatigue from another character...good thing no-one has done so.(Delia's backpack of doom, anyone?)

I guess a grumpy dwarf does not invite folks to give, and I was never... maliciously burdened. (Plus, I have set up a coloured highlight on "so. gives you sth.")
Anyhow, this made me think about the give-command and I realize that it should indeed be reconsidered. It is not polite to emote actions of others (eg. a handshake), so why can we force-give things to others? But turning "give" into "offer for free" would create too many distracting prompts...

Eh, maybe something could be set up so you could choose who you autoaccept things from, and who would otherwise need you to manually accept things from them.
Tessa's own backpack is slowly becoming a respectable force in its own right, too.
I've learned to fear that thing, and within very good reason.(Delia's backpack of doom, anyone?)

The only problem with that is the endless amount of times people mess up the "blabla wants to give you a xx. do you accept? (y/n)" prompt by trying to do something else like a say or hp.
If it were set up so other commands didn't interrupt the prompt, and I could.. say, check my hp before saying 'y' without it messing it up, then converting to offers may not be so bad.
