Re: Absence
A bit funny you say that...I actually felt more like Andy than I really ever had before.triska wrote:Bloody hell Andy they cleaned you up!!!!!
1.) Have the bad tan line. Red face (sunburn-tan).
2.) Dirty like hell. Went a few days at a time without really washing. Ended up being completely covered in dirt and clay. Frequently, the dirt served as a better screen from the sun than the sunblock did.
3.) Carrying lots of shit around. 70 lbs geophysics equipment every morning for two weeks...urgh.
4.) Having my pockets filled with really small change (30 centimos) that's not useful for anything.
5.) Spending lots of time with drunk people.
6.) Being annoyed with random people (tourists) doing stupid things (climbing over barriers) and asking stupid questions ("are you looking for gold?")
7.) Eating the same thing every day for a month and more.
As for Jalil: I'm not currently injured. The first post with the back injury is from last year.

Back earlier than I meant to be due to various circumstances. Not on full steam yet though.

Re: Absence
Ill be around later. I got a lot of stuff going on lately, and can't really commit the copious amount of time I usually do with Geas. Ill be on here and there to tie up loose ends, but nothing else big.
Sorry for the inconvenience.

Re: Absence
Starting soon enough, I doubt I can be around as much as I have been. Not that I have been around that much in the first place lately...Should take few weeks or so. Give or take.

Will not be able to play Geas for a bit... home internet died. Sneaked onto a library computer to post this... (I owe almost $80) Will post back when able to be back on consistently.

Re: Absence
I'll be spending the rest of Thanksgiving weekend with the family, so I'm mostly unavailable until Monday.
Year-end is usually a busy time for me. I'll definitely be around, but if there is something that needs prompt attention, mailing me will probably get you the best response.

As you might have noticed Luminier is on extended leave for now. If you feeling like bugging him, send a mail. He'll be around to poke his head in, but sparsely more than that pending a few issues. Thanks for the good times!

...And I'm back, for a little while at least. Not as Olrane, of course - I retired him when I decided that the goodies defeated him for good.
But I'm around, glad to be back. I've missed Geas and you folks.

Re: Absence
I've been a bit absent lately as I've been busy as a bee, tired and all that jazz. Now preparing for a trip to London, hopefully I have some time for Geas starting next week again.

Re: Absence
An ice storm hit the area over a week ago. This caused a pine branch to freeze over and fall due to the added weight of all the ice. Said branch landed on the eaves of the house and pulled a bit of it out along with the phone line. So no phone; no DSL. As well, AT&T were drag-asses about getting it fixed. So that's where I've been.

Re: Absence
Memphis is further south than Baltimore, and this wasn't snow. It was ice. No snow. It actually snowed this morning, then this afternoon it rained and washed it away. Weather is screwy here.
I was playing Mass Effect 2; my DSL was out. Considering Mass Effect 2 was awesome in everything except length, I actually played it three times for lack of something else. I mean it; it was entirely too short. (Though I did like that BioWare screwed with the segment of the playerbase that wanted to see a love interest in Tali'Zorah in the first game as well as see her face. I thought it hilarious.)

Re: Absence
The game was really too short. 35 hours and I had beaten it. The last mission was kinda of fun, i always like doing the "split your team up and fight" thing. By the end of the game I was playing hardcore and by the end there were few things that didn't fall to one or two headshots.
Infiltrator ftw. I did want to play that class when you rush up to people and shotgun them though. Seems pretty fun.
I figured it would be once you got your team together it would be the end of the game... but I was sincerely hoping I was wrong. Sadly I wasn't. Oh well, time to wait for ME3, and replay on Insanity.
